Paul Wilkinson has taken a million stunners… check them out at http://pwilkinson.net/
Cheers Paul!
Well, that’s that! Cheers to everyone who supported, turned up, competed, cheered, helped out and all the other great stuff that you did! A full report sometime tomorrow with any luck… in the mean time check out the Palm Blog for some video of SlopeJam! CLICK

Friday – 5.30pm – Competitors meet at the Fournel for an informal SlopeJam
Friday – Night – Embrum, the classy club with the light up dance floor!
Saturday – Times TBC – The Clinics
Saturday – 5pm – Meet at the top of the Slalom Course in l’Arg for Boater/Bloater/Inflatey X
Saturday – Night – The island at L’arg for some “L’arg” Partying!
From Tuesday I’ll be in L’arg with the Team and the ghetto-pimp-ride. See you all there.
As you may have noticed, the French Alps is VERY high at the moment. Unfortunately this puts it all rather up in the air as to what will be happening. Obviously the fournel is unrunnable when it is really high, and the Slalom course may well still be too high for paddling. We hope this doesn’t happen, but it’s not to be ruled out. We will do our best to put on something!!
Can we also stress that these events are all informal gatherings of friends, and we want to keep it that way.
Cheers, and see you in France.
Not long to go now…
Word on the street is that France is gonna be pretty pumpin’ this summer… Great! Obviously if the levels are mahoosive on the Slalom Course we will adjust the program to keep things safe, likewise with SlopeJam…
Big thanks to Ben Brown for his info on grind rails. Useful stuff, cheers!

Ben Brown – “Professional Kayaker”
That’s right, it’s time to get some students in the clinic!
The clinic is a combination of two things – Free coaching, and free (demo) boats!!
The lovely lovely people from DAGGER EUROPE are bringing us a fleet of WW spec demo boats all the way to France for you to have a blast in. How ace is that?!
On top of that we have got some FREE coaching from some world leading paddlers, who have come out to France just for you!*
*Well, sort of.
Lowri Davies of FlowFree coaching, Tom Parker of Chris Eastabrook Coaching, Chris Eastabrook of Tom Parker Coaching, The Liquid Satisfaction Gang, Sparky from Core Kayaking, the Performance Kayaks Mahoosive, Dave Fairweather, Dave Carroll and more will all be on hand covering all sorts of stuff from the basics of rolling and running white water to some rescue stuff, big boat playboating, small boat playboating and who knows what else!
Details will be sorted out in France.
These are “free” but please remember that all of the coaches are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, and do like steak and beer or wine…
It’s getting closer…
Thanks to everyone who got in touch, and appologies to those who haven’t got a space, there’s only so much room on the river!!

In the title really!
SlopeJam invites will be going out via Email on MONDAY the 5th!
Your last chance to enter one of the first events of it’s kind, and maybe win some “sweet” prizes! drop an email to slopejam@tom-laws.com with who you are and maybe something to convince me you should enter. It’s an all star cast, and going to be one helluva show at this rate.
Cheers
SBX and SJ Team.

Cheers to those who have got in touch about SlopeJam. Don’t worry, I haven’t got back to anyone yet. I’m going to do a mail out in a day or so and drop some details your way.
Dagger have confirmed a fleet of demo boats, and some top paddlers to help in “The Clinics” for Saturday.
Currently in talks with a booze sponsor…
It’s sunny today! Woo.
Right, the nitty gritty today I’m afraid. SlopeJam is an “invite only” event due to the extremely hazardous nature of the course, not to mention the limited size. We are sorry to have to do this, but I’m pretty sure you can understand why!
So, if you want to enter SlopeJam (DETAILS) then you will have to be “invited”. To be eligible to be invited, drop us an email on slopejam@tom-laws.com and let us know that you are interested in entering. This is so we can get an idea of numbers and organise accordingly. Cheers for doing this, makes everything a lot easier.
To get even more excited check out this awesome video from Ben Brown on KS TV – Here!!
