SlopeJam

Slopestyle - Taken straight from the snowsports world, it’s basically downriver freestyle. A combination of natural & man made obstacles to express your way down!
Where?
The Fournel, a short section of weirs and drops, on the hill behind L’argentiere la Besse. Full directions from people on the camp site. It’s about 5 min drive from the camping.
When?
The SBX Team will be up there most of the 13th June sorting out a sweet course to session. Meet about 4.30, and we’ll aim to be kicking off by 5pm
What?
The SlopeJam Team will select a section of the Fournel, set a time limit, and let people get on with it. Within the allotted time, you can pretty much have as many runs as you want down the course and try any move you want, the crazyier the better. Judging will be by an impartial team of uni paddler from a range of universities.
Who?
SlopeJam takes place on a challenging section of river, with a significant height loss over the course, not to mention the additional obstacles. Entry is at the disgression of the SlopeJam Team. If you would like to be considered for entry, drop SlopeJam an email HERE
